Another day, another car chase

Only in Southern California…. Seriously, what are these people thinking? They can get away? Cops and paparazzi everywhere…. and Mexico is about a 3-hour ride from LA. Yesterday the 5th police chase in the last 2 weeks (in LA) happened and was live on TV from about 8pm till midnight. The driver didn’t exceed the 40 mph so it was pretty boring in a way, but still…. that’s entertainment?

At around 8pm on Monday February 9th, a white Bentley began what was to be a 4 hour car chase, and a media frenzy.  The driver reportedly assaulted a woman with a deadly weapon, drove around Los Angeles highways, returned to a meeting place he had arranged with the alleged victim, and then shot himself in the head while in a standoff with LA Police.  The driver, name still unreleased, died early Tuesday morning at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank. Rumors had been flying all over the web as to whether or not the Bentley with Illinois plates belonged to Chris Brown or DJ Khaled, but that was NOT true.

After the famous OJ Simpson car chase in June 1994 there have been numerous attempts to start a ‘car chasing channel’. It has never happened cause it would only get more people doing this kind of shit. Everybody wants to get their 15-minutes of fame on TV right???
