Ali Boulala in jail
Yesterday we read on the Kingpin website that Flip rider Ali Boulala was sentenced to 4 years in jail….
Today the Australian Daily Telegraph even reported about it…. what a sad story. Etnies already let him go at the end of last year but he still has pro boards on Flip, which I think is his only sponsor at the moment….
Fellow Flip rider Geoff Rowley also got some other sad news. The grizzly bear that featured in his latest Vans ad killed his trainer a few days ago…. Rowley had visited to bear 2 days prior.
People that don´t read skateboard magazines and might have not seen the Vans ad might ´reconize´ the bear from the recent Will Ferrel movie ´Semi pro´. The deadly accident happened in Big Bear Lake, just east of LA.

According to the OC Register, Pro skater, Brian Patch is facing a felony charge of committing a lewd act with a minor. Patch is set to appear in court for an arraignment hearing on June 4 at the West Justice Center in Westminster.
