Gonzalez guest art

Krooked might be the only company that can offer any pro a guest board, without other board companies getting mad. If you get hand picked by the Gonz there is no way you are gonna refuse that. Guest boards or what?
But what if the Gonz does some guest boards for another company? It may sound weird, but that’s exactly what happened. The lucky company is Cliché, from France. Why Cliché you may ask? Well, the circle is smaller then you think…..
Cliché is owned by Salomon, the Finnish ski company. And Salomon is owned by Adidas, who happens to be the long time shoe sponsor of Mark Gonzales. Then Skatedaily.net posted the ‘guest art’, and that website is run by Bryce Kanights, who happens to be the Adidas skate teammanager for about a year or so now…..
In the beginning of 2006 Adidas bought Reebok, making it’s empire even bigger. Is that the reason the RBK skate shoes are almost gone (at least on this side of the planet)? This gives room to Adidas to launch it skate program??? Doesn’t even sound to weird….
Nike, the big competitor from Adidas, did team up with Cliché to release a limited (of course) skateboard (SB) shoe to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the French board company. This is remarkable, but I bet the 2 sport titans will make up this ‘minor loss in sales’ in the soccer world.
And now Stevie Williams get guest board on Krooked to make it up the RBK thing?

On a related ‘the kids have got to know’ note; we caught some rumors that ‘the man who souled the world’ DVD, about Steve Rocco from World Industries, will be released this Christmas. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: THIS IS A MUST SEE. Go to a premiere or buy the DVD, it’s worth your time. A history lesson in skateboarding that is fun to watch.
A premiere in Holland will probably not happen, but don’t wait ’till it’s on YouTube….
