In Irvine, CA there is church that has a HELL(avu) lot of money so they decided to lure the kids into religion by building a skatepark. Not to bad of an idea huh?
But if only you could skate it all day everyday and without the ‘adult supervision’…. Isn’t god supposed to look after all his people regardsless?

Ow, and of course the helmet law. You would think the church people want you to hit your head so you would just shut up and listen right? No questions asked for something that pretty much unexplainable….

New Transworld video summer 2010

Is it just me or are the names of the Transworld videos getting weirder everytime? I kinda thought the new video would be called Left Foot Forward…. Hehehe!

Regardless, the line-up once again is diverse and something to look forward to, Hallelujah!

Kyle Leeper cruises through downtown LA

Thanks to the Black Label blog we saw this really cool video of Kyle Leeper skating through downtown LA. It kinda reminded me of the Pontiac commercial with Pat Duffy and Jake Brown we posted here a few weeks ago, but than way better. Less drama, more pushing and cruising at a normal pace.
Leave it to etnies video wizard Mike Manzoori to make a short video that gets me that anxious to go skate! This might just be our favorite part for this year….

Downtown LA huh…. So close yet so far away…. To all my friends that I’ve been stalking to get the crew together and go out there on a Sunday. Let’s skip a TF sometime soon and go up to LA (once the storm is over). Get there while we can!

Lowcard is pretty damn trendsetting!
We pretty much have half of the bingo covered. Dunno if that’s good or bad….

Beanie: to cover up the reciting hairline
Cruiser: it’s nice to skate to work when the sun shines and you leave on time
Texting: Unlimited texting…. there you go
Morrisey: not really, but that song from Chris Pulman’s part (Heroin – Live in Antartica) anytime
Shitty zine: Lowcard isn’t that shitty anymore!
Cigarettes: Smoking kills stupid, still.
Half cabs: Never had a pair of Vans. Ow yeah I did, white Salman Agah’s. I used a sharpie to blackout the stripe….
Motorcycle: Yeah, when the sun shines pretty much everyday. It’s almost as cool as skateboarding.
PBR: Whenever it’s free. They do seem to sponsor a lot of skateboard events.
Beard: Chicks told me it looks better (even though it covers up my scars?)
Skate art: Decks on the wall, a whole lot of ‘em.
iPod: Nah, more like iPhone….
Free space: Not MySpace right? Epicly Later’d videos all day everyday!
Fixed gear: My beach cruiser doesn’t have gears, does that count?
Griptape art: No can’t do. Ask Wienus. I think it’s a waste of time. And it covers up the Paradox logo/loyalty.
The Swoosh: never be bought, never be sold. (Sometimes selling out is giving up)
Skate rock: Hightower! Yeah Jake!
Flannel: too many, just like you?
Trucker hat: no more, let it all hang out.
Weed: never ever, did you really understand what it does to you, and your friends?
Home tattoo: I might have to ask Jamie Thomas next time, or Erwin Prent!
Plastic sunglasses: Still have a couple left, in case I sit on ‘em. Did you know they float?
Hostage shirt: Hell yeah, 666 the number of the beast (aka fuck religion)
Holga: Is that a camera that takes 4 pictures at once and they all look weird?
SPB: Silly Pink Bunnies! Head honcho is Jeremy Fish. I went to one of their conventions (in SF). Where is it this year?

No more Salton Sea pool

We were planning a skate/motorcycle trip to this abandon pool next to the Salton Sea…. The trip might still be happening, the pool is history.

Testing Twitterfeed

We are testing Twitterfeed for both our Twitter account and Facebook account….

Pretty sure by now you’ve seen our Twitter widget (on the right). Twitter is the perfect way to follow this website without looking us up from a computer. Any smart phone (iPhone, Blackberry, etc) should be able to get a Twitter app. We use Tweetie (version 2.1c) on the iPhone and we like it a lot!

And while Twitter is a more simplistic, almost business way of social networking, Facebook is a bit more personal. Become a fan of Worldwide Skateboarding on Facebook and stay up to date with our updates!

Now if only we would be updating a bit more….
